04 - Gently pour the wet mixture into the dry ingredients and stir just until combined. Do not overmix; a few lumps are acceptable.
05 - Fold in the diced strawberries evenly throughout the batter.
06 - Lightly grease the hot waffle iron with melted butter.
07 - Pour an appropriate amount of batter onto the hot waffle iron, following its guidelines, and cook for 3 to 5 minutes per batch or until golden brown and crisp.
08 - Present warm waffles with whipped cream or yogurt, syrup or honey, and extra sliced strawberries as desired.
